This year, I have been forced to take charge of my health and face the inevitable changes that have developed in my body; such as digestive health issues and other issues.
This is the year that the universe has screamed at me and said “it is time to eat healthier and deal with your improper eating routine”.
With 40 yrs approaching quickly, i could no longer ignore the discomfort.
As a constellation prize for not taking care of myself and eating healthy, I have been awarded with IBS. The journey to managing and getting a diagnosis is tricky and not a barrel of fun – welcome to the world of ultra sounds and colonoscopy; as well as the roller coaster of learning what you can and cannot tolerate. This is a jiggling act in itself as IBS is very individualized so not books will help.
